PRIMORDIAL Frontman, METAL BLADE RECORDS CEO Discuss Classic Metal Albums - Part 1

July 2, 2010

Metal Blade Records CEO Brian Slagel and vocalist Alan "Nemtheanga" Averill of Irish dark metal masters PRIMORDIAL recently had a chance to talk about some of their favorite classic metal albums from the Metal Blade vault. The conversation has been broken up into a four-part series to focus on each of the four albums that they discussed. In Part 1, the metal connoisseurs reminisce about CIRITH UNGOL's "King Of The Dead". Nemtheanga talks about that album's influence on him and PRIMORDIAL while Brian Slagel talks about what it was like to work with the band back in the early 1980s.

This video series will be a fascinating and enthralling experience for metalheads new and old.

Remember some of your favorite classics or discover an album that influenced hordes of modern musicians.

Part 1 of this series is available for viewing below. Stay tuned for parts 2-4 next week.
